EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Total Experience: 5+ Years

Storage  Experience: 3+ Years (Minimum)

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc./M.Sc./MCA/Polytechnic Diploma

Candidates possessing below mentioned skills & criteria would only be considered.

Requirement 1.

AIX System Administrators: ( Job Code: 1000JU2)


  • Open to work in Shifts including Night Shifts
  • Excellent Communication Skills


AIX System Administrators . (L2 & L3 Administrators)  

 Experience in LVM And Clusters
 Knowledge of server installation and recovery, LVM concepts, backups, network concepts-NIS, NFS, TCPIP, routing         Knowledge on HACMP and logical partitioning desirable  AIX 5.2 & AIX 5.3 with HACMP BOX– Production Server.
Administer Data center with 24* 7 support for Unix (AIX) Boxes with HACMP Clusters. Installation, Configuration, Performance monitoring in production servers. (i.e. RS/6000 and pSeries server).
Collecting data and implementing Operating system upgrades (AIX) to the latest available maintenance levels, latest Create LVM structures based on requirement provided by application owner.
Perform storage migration on Cluster server.
Backing up & Restoring File System on a Regular Schedule through tools like IBM TSM .
Scheduling jobs.
Working and troubleshooting on day-to-day problems via opening and closing tickets.
Participating in change record meeting and approving changes.


Requirement 2.

HP- UX Administrators:  (Job Code: 11001BA)
  • Open to work in Shifts including Night Shifts
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Job Profile :

Able to perform in-depth fault analysis and troubleshooting. Should have good knowledge of server installation and recovery, LVM concepts
Knowledge of server partitioning MCS/Service Guard and lignite is desirable.
Knowledge of software installation, patching and performance turning.
Working and troubleshooting on day-to-day problems via opening and closing tickets.
Participating in change record meeting and approving changes.
Working on new server builds for new projects including HPUX servers and coordinating with different groups to  achieve target date.
Perform all standard system administration on HPUX machines (users, groups, backup etc).

For lazy logs u can at least use Name/URL option which don’t even require any sign-in, good thing is that it can accept your lovely nick name also and URL is not mandatory too.
